This burnt wood wall rack has five silver feather hooks. It measures 36 inch x 7.25 inch. Use it for hanging coats, towels or jewelry.
For the finish of the wood, we used a technique called shou sugi ban. This is an old Japanese technique where the wood is burned heavily until it is black and charred. After cooling down, the wood is cleaned until the soft wood is back to its natural color and the wood grain remains burnt.
This will leave a beautiful rich structured pattern, the pictures really do not show the real beauty.
We apply a stain and finish the board with a protective layer. The color options are shown in the last picture. The board in the picture has a pearl white wash. Please leave a message with your order if you want the board from the picture, which has a bit of a shimmer.
The hooks are also listed separate in the store if you want to use them elsewhere in the house, click HERE...
On the back are two keyhole slots and screws and plugs are provided.
